Watch this short film with Peter Brock talking about the development of the Daytona. Brock is probably the most famous for designing the Shelby Cobra Daytona and is one of the icons of the American automotive engineering. He is also the youngest designer ever hired by GM, he was just 19 years old. At GM his design was picked as the basis for the next generation Corvette and he is also known for developing cars which are successful on the race track.
In 2012, we had the opportunity to interview legendary automotive designer Peter Brock and discuss the making of the Shelby Cobra Daytona coupe, while taking a cruise in Brock’s own replica car built by Superformance in South Africa.
